Anxiety and Stress

Anxiety

Anxiety is the most common mental health concern in America. We have so much around us that can cause anxiety. Maybe it’s stress at work or school, a strained relationship with a family member, thoughts about upcoming deadlines, or being out in public. Anxiety does a great job of keeping us safe in dangerous situations. It becomes problematic though, when it keeps us from achieving our goals. Learn how to identify the source, challenge the lies that anxiety tells us, and learn to live a freer life. One of the most common treatments for anxiety include CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Exposure Therapy, both of which I provide)

Stress

Stress isn’t bad, the belief that stress is bad, is. Stress, like anxiety, is healthy, when in appropriate amounts. If you feel like your stress levels are too high, it might be time to do something about it.

You feel like you have to do it all. You worry about the consequences if you don’t meet deadlines, complete tasks, or help the people around you. I have news for you, these are very often unrealistic expectations and can be crippling. If you feel like this, it might be time to do something about it. Nobody can operate on high levels of stress forever.
